I purchased this car in 2016 with 157000km and a lot of TLC needed. It had been in a front end accident, hastily repaired, and had a rebuilt title.  Since I intended to mostly gut whatever car I bought anyway, for the price I paid, this was the right car for me at the time.  I bought it to replace my sadly written off modded E36 328i convertible, which had similar mods to what I now have on this E46 M3.  At first I focused on the M3’s basic maintenance and fixing a few things – mostly leftovers from the previous accident damage.  Then in 2017 I had a major mechanical overhaul/upgrade project done on it at 164000km, which completely transformed the car and made it feel like the ideal spiritual successor to my E36.  Looking ahead, I’ll be in the market soon for a diff upgrade along with a carbon driveshaft.  Got a great deal I should know about?  Contact me.
