I purchased this car in 2011 with approx. 180,000km and a lot of TLC needed. I bought it with the intent to upgrade it to M3-or-better levels of performance & handling. On my first test drive, I was immediately impressed with the smoothness & power of the engine and got excited about the project. Since then it has been a steady road of servicing & upgrades, while driving the car only in summer. It has been an absolute joy to feel the improvements each stage of upgrade has brought to this car.  I’ve never felt more connected to the road in any other road car. And no, she’s not for sale. 🙂

I ran the car on a Dyno Dynamics dyno in April of 2016, shortly after break-in of the new engine components, and she produced over 257whp and over 230 ft lbs of torque, with about 1.5% variation in a total of 6 runs that day – nearly a 60% increase in performance from the motor’s original state.  I have a few more future upgrades in mind, including an extended rear diffuser, weld-in roll bar, weight reduction, and a 6-speed swap.  After that, I’ll think about smoothing in my E46 M3 CSL spoiler, body & paint work, & maybe a vinyl wrap.
